Created during a month-long residency on Kyushu Island, the site of Japan’s largest active  volcano. The crater is all grey ash and cinders. But on the edges, it shines brilliant green as the  land and eco-systems are re-set. The videos are shot on dioramas constructed from the  Kyushu island eco-system and the backdrops are photographs from that area.
